The U.K.’s premier Comedy/Folk group, will be joined this year by guest guitarist KEN NICOL …David met Ken eight years ago when he moved to Preston…and was blown away by Kens ability on the guitar….. Ken has spent the past few years playing with …Steeleye Span…and more recently has teamed up with Phil Cool…so with that background should be well suited to The Weavers style..
Since cutting their teeth in folk clubs in their native North West, the Weavers have enjoyed non-stop success, with a great following at their concerts, and a large fan club with members worldwide and this year are celebrating 35 years ‘treading the boards’
They have recorded numerous albums and can even boast a Number 1 hit in Tasmania with their perennial favourite “The Blackpool Belle”, a song that also reached Number 3 in New Zealand.
The Weavers will have a new C.D. and D.V.D. out so, come along and get your copy signed.
